After working for stevedoring firms & running passenger vessels we saw a need for a truly independent agency that believes in service after the sale. Anybody can sell you an insurance policy but do they truly know what coverage’s are needed? Do they know what underwriters are competitive? Last but not least do they understand the Marine Business? We were blessed with being raised in a Seafaring family where boats were not a hobby but a way of life. All this adds up to one thing, expertise and superior service for our clients.

Beale Marine & Casualty handles all types of marine coverage from Maine to Brownsville, Texas including the Caribbean. We represent all the major American insurance companies with A.M. Best ratings of “A” or better. We also have a Florida surplus lines license which enables us to place business with Lloyds brokers and underwriters directly without having a middleman involved. Our nearly twenty years of placing business with underwriters guarantees competitive pricing without sacrificing coverage.

Meet our Staff:

Roger Beale: Owner. Roger is a graduate of Florida State University, College of Business. Roger has held many positions in the Marine industry including : Boarding Agent in the Panama Canal, and operator of passenger vessels as a licensed 100 ton captain. Roger is a lifetime boat enthusiast and avid fisherman.

John P Beale: Owner, producer, and responsible for placing new business. John is a graduate of Florida State University, College of Business. John was raised in and around the marine industry. John is an avid fisherman, scuba diver, and boat enthusiast. John obtained his first boat at the age of 8 and has owned approximately 15 vessels up to 40 feet in length.

Sabrina Brigance: Sabrina is a licensed Florida Agent, responsible for marketing new accounts and servicing current commercial clients. She has over 8 years of experience in the insurance industry working for both insurance companies as well as agencies. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor Degree in Business Management.

Yaritza Feige: Yaritza is a licensed FL Agent, responsible for servicing our current yacht and charter clients. She has 6 years of insurance experience. Her career started early in Brooklyn, NY working direct with Allstate Insurance Company. She is the newest member of the Beale Marine Family. Yaritza is also fluent in Spanish.

Gwen Hill: Gwen has worked in customer service in insurance for more than 10 years.

Janice Colburn: Jan has over 30 years accounting experience. Jan is always ready to assist clients with their specific needs regarding insurance premiums and billing concerns.
